James Nix

James Keith Nix passed away October 22, 2017. He was 78 years old. He was born June 23, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas to James Leven and Jimmie Madeline Nix.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jerry Lou Nix of Ingleside, Texas; three children, Steven Wesley Nix (Sharron) of Oak Leaf, Texas, Tracy Rae McRae (Guy) of Bonham, Texas, and Cory Leven Nix (Theresa) of Portland, Texas; sisters, Sandra Shake, and Linda Leyendecker (Johnny) both of Bulverde, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm with the family being present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral service will be Friday, October 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Ingleside United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens in Portland, Texas.
