James Mayes

Jay was born November 1, 1983. He was a 2002 graduate of Rockport-Fulton High School and except for a few years spent living and going to elementary school in Victoria, was a lifelong resident of Rockport.

Jay is survived by his father James D. Mayes, mother Catheryne R. Little, step-father James H. Little, brother Tony Reyes, step-brothers John and Eric (April) Little.

Jay had a large circle of family and friends who love him and will miss his quick smile, fun loving nature and especially his good and kind heart.

Though he was taken away from us way too soon.
It is comforting to know that he is in loving hands.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 27, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with family present. A burial of ashes ceremony for family and friends will take place on a date to be announced in early July.
