James Bauknight

James N. Bauknight, 61, passed away April 30, 2021, he was born to parents Patricia and James D. Bauknight on March 20, 1960, in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his father James D. Bauknight.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sue Ann; daughters, Ashley Grandey (Ian) and Shannon Marshall (Wesley); mother, Patricia Smith; sister, Rhonda Zuniga; mother-in-love Vicki Melton; brother- in-love, Richard Melton (Takako); sister-in-love Carol Salo (Jesse);along with his extended family, step-daughter, Sarah B. Hanson; step-son, Kevin C. Hansen; Seven grandchildren: niece, Rheanna (Ryan) Picarazzi; nephew, Rocky (Abby) Oramand; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, and boat racing. Four of his biggest pleasures in life. Winning multiple awards and trophies in professional boat racing to Bill fishing tournaments.  Neil also loved the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing and out door activities with family and friends.

Neil helped to operate  Jims Outboard with his mother for several years. Then worked in the pacific operating a sword fishing vessel. Worked on small engine repairs than for Harbour offshore supply.

James will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located in Aransas Pass.
