Jackie Mundine

Jackie Glen Mundine,62, went to be with the Lord on January 22-, 2023. He was born on September 5, 1960, to parents, Ottie and Dorothy Mundine in Rockport, Texas.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mary Yvonne Mundine; sons, Adam Mundine of Fulton, Texas, Brandon Mundine of Richmond, Virginia, Stephen Garza of Ingleside, Texas, and Daniel Caleb Way of Fulton, Texas; brothers, Robert Lynn (Sheila) Mundine of Rockport, Texas, and David (Brenda) Mundine of Woodsboro, Texas; sister, Genevieve (Bill) Tolleson of Woodsboro, Texas; grandchildren, Dylan Mundine, Declan Mundine, both of Richmond, Virigina, Adam Mundine Jr., Brice Mundine, Carter Mundine, and Adelina Mae Garza all from Ingleside, Texas; grandparents, Edwin Mundine, Jessie Mundine both of Rockport, Texas, Charles Robert Defrost, and Ruby Alene Defrost both of Houston, Texas.

Jackie was a dedicated member of the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department serving in nearly every role at some point during his 45 years of service.  In most recent years Jackie could be found behind the wheel and on the pump panel of his beloved apparatus at any emergency scene. From there able to direct crews to clear the Emergency at hand. Always a leader and quick to take new members under his wing, Jackie helped educate and influence every member of the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department, helping his pride and joy become the robust and professional Department it is today. Always a steward of the community, Jackie was quick to praise others for their volunteerism and last to accept any praise or condolence for the many selfless hours he volunteered.

A community gathering will be held at 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 27th, 2023, at the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. A Wake service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department located at 401 Googles Cole Blvd in Fulton, Texas.
