Jack T. McKenzie

Jack T. McKenzie, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was born on May 24, 1940, in Victoria, Texas to Jack C. and Marjorie McKenzie.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Jack C. McKenzie and mother Marjorie McKenzie.

He is survived by the love of his life Danna Jones McKenzie, his brother Tommy McKenzie, his sister Joeann McKenzie, his sons J.T. McKenzie, Scott McKenzie, Joseph McKenzie, Robye McKenzie and daughters Jaqueline Ortega and Tina Malek. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, cousins, and nieces.

Danna said, "Jack meant the world to me a man of good character who taught me to love and gave me many gifts, but the greatest gift Jack McKenzie gave me was that when he drew his last breath on this earth is that he drew his next breath in heaven. That is the greatest gift a man could give a woman. I have so much love and respect for him." Jack was very passionate about the way he lived his life and cared for others. He always put God first! Jack never met a stranger and desired to share his story of what God had done for him and that he would do the same for them if they would ask Jesus into their Heart. Jackie will truly be missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to U.T. MD Anderson Cancer Center or Bill Glass Behind the Walls

At the family's request, a private Memorial will be held in his honor.
