Israel Perales, Jr. was taken too soon from us on Friday, October 9, 2020. He was born in Gregory, Texas on August 29, 1963. Israel was a man that was respected by many, a loving father and an amazing husband. He served his community as a peace officer for 27 years for the city of Ingleside and Aransas Pass Texas. Upon his retirement, he guarded Juan Diego Academy in Mission Texas. He protected “God’s Holy Ground.” For many that knew him, they knew they always had a friend. He was well respected in the community. He participated in molding many young people. He was an avid griller, famous for his barbeque.
He is preceded in death by his parents Israel Perales, Sr. & Juanita Perales and Diana Hernandez (sister).
He is survived by his wife Maria Juanita Leal-Perales, daughter Annalisa Marie Perales, sons Porfirio “Alex” Reyes and Jamie Reyes (Odalyz), fur children Chico and Pistol, siblings: Ramiro Perales (Maria Antonia), Robert Perales (Betty Marie), Juanita Perales Quintanar (Albert).
We will miss him forever but he will live in our hearts until we meet again.
The family will meet at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home for the processional on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 1:45 p.m. then to go to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory, TX.
Inurnment will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Sgt. Aaron Jones, Sgt, Antonio Davila, Sgt. Gus Perez, and Sgt. Rick Hernandez.
