Ila Plant

Ila Marie Plant, 89, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Corrigan, TX. Ila was born on February 08, 1928 in Corpus Christi, TX, to Earl Corkill Sr. and Bertie Jones Corkill.

Mrs. Plant was preceded in death by her husband Walter Plant Sr.; her parents Earl & Bertie Corkill; daughter, Judy Pfeffer and two brothers, Bert Corkill and Richard Corkill.

She is survived by her Son Walter E. Plant Jr (Joy); 5 daughters, Peggy (Pete) Haskin, Donna (Ace) Shedd, Pat (Van) Clark, Betty (Walt Sr.) White and Carol (Leon Sr.) Kolodziej; brother, Earl Corkill Jr. and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Visitation Will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at North Bay Fellowship Church in Ingleside, TX by Pastor Odell Daughtry. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
