Howard Lee Walker, 83, was called to heaven the morning of July 15, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on September 4, 1940 in Breckenridge, TX to his parents Herman Walker and LaRue Roberts. Howard enlisted in the Navy at 17 years old and served 4 years on the USS Wedderburn DD-684. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local Union 416 out of Los Angeles for 30 + years.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Sharon Walker, seven children and their spouses, Christopher Walker (Pam), Ronald Walker (Liz), Robyn Necochea (Robbie), William Katona (Christie), Daniel Katona (Deceased), Adele Burnett, Michele Keaton (Shaun), Fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five greatgrandchildren. Howard was a loving, Godly, family man. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and he cherished making memories with his family and friends. He was a handyman and often worked on projects with his children and grandchildren teaching them new skills and spending time with them.
Howard will be greatly missed by all those who were touched by such a devoted and honorable man.
