Hope Reeves

Hope Dawn Reeves, 62, passed away peacefully at her Rockport home on May 28, 2017. She was born on March 6, 1955 in Seguin, Texas to Sonny and Rosalyn Dietz.

Hope is preceded in death by her father, Herman Louis Dietz and sister, Tracy Lynn Cuellar. She is survived by her loving partner, Cleve Wesley Purdy; sons, Cullen Storm Reeves III (Shana) and Michael Cory Reeves; stepson, Michael Shannon Purdy; mother, Rosalyn Dietz; brothers, Wyatt Dietz, Hank Dietz and Herman Wayne Dietz, Travis Layne Dietz; sister, Susan Linn; grandchildren, Jayde Nicole Reeves, Cullen Storm Reeves IV and many dear friends.

Hope was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to so many. She had a profound love for life and animals. Hope was selfless and giving to her family, extended family and friends and always made sure they were well taken care of and made countless sacrifices to ensure they were. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being surrounded by them. One of the things she appreciated the most was the time she spent at home with Wes and all of their beloved pets. Hope will be dearly missed and although she is gone, her memory, warmth and life lessons will live in our hearts forever.
