Herminia J. Robles, lovingly known as “Mina,” passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on November 17, 2024.

Born on February 10, 1932, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to Roman and Marciana Garza, Mina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother,great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She served her community as a postal clerk at the Aransas Pass Post Office until retirement and was a faithful and active member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Mina’s dedication to her faith and her parish was evident in her many contributions. She led the choir for Spanish Masses, recited the Rosary at countless funerals, and participated in numerous church activities as a devout Catholic. Her unwavering faith, generosity, and warmth left an indelible mark on her family, friends,and all who knew her.

Mina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecilio; her parents, Roman and Marciana; her son, Paul Robles; and her brothers, Roman Garza, Homer Garza, and Edward Garza.

She is survived by her sons, Cecilio Robles Jr. (Carolyn) of Rockport and Timothy Michael Robles of Aransas Pass; her daughter, Deloris Wofford (Wayne) of Humboldt, Tennessee; her sister, Sylvia Olivares of Corpus Christi; nine grandchildren, twenty-one- great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass, followed by interment at Aransas Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Activities Fund at Gulf Point Nursing Home, located at 1008 Enterprise Blvd., Rockport, TX 78382.

Arrangements are under the care of Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory, located at 2003 W. Wheeler Avenue  in Aransas Pass, Texas.
