Herman Lightfoot

Herman Leroy Lightfoot, 85 passed away July 13, 2017. He was born March 23, 1932 in Combs, Texas to Augusta and Edith Lightfoot. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 47 years, Betty Lightfoot; sisters, Mittie Niola Funkhourser, Patsy Gean Tipton, Barbara Ann Densmore; brother, James Harold Jeffries.

He is survived by son, Lee Lightfoot (Carla) Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughters, Debra Hopkins (Keith) of Skidmore, Texas, Tracy Lightfoot of Granbury, Texas; brothers, R.L. Lightfoot, Ronald Lightfoot, Donald Lightfoot; sisters, Dixie McConathy, Judy Bockhorst; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service conducted by Pastor James Hudson will begin at 2:00p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Lee Sang, Maria Palacious and Calidad Hospice for the wonderful care given to Herman.
