Hector Torres

Hector Manuel Torres passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2023 at the age of 63. Hector was born to Candelario and Guadalupe Torres and raised in Rockport, Texas. He was a graduate of Rockport-Fulton High School. He retired from HEB after 44 years of faithful service. He was an avid model airplane, ship, and military vehicle builder and had an extensive collection. He was married to Herlinda Solis Torres for nearly twenty years until her death in 2003, and lived in Raisin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Herlinda Torres; his parents, Candelario and Guadalupe Torres; and his siblings, Margarita Torres and James Torres. He is survived by his siblings Magdalena Atkinson; Reynaldo Torres; Gloria Perez; Candelario (Sandra) Torres Jr.; Dianna (Jesse) Torres; David (Graciela) Torres and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral  Home in Rockport, Texas. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 16,2023 at 10:00 am also at Charlie  Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas with the burial to follow at the Rockport Cemetery.
