Hazel Owens

Hazel Lorraine Owens, 85, of Aransas Pass,Texas passed away on July 17, 2017. She was born in Papalote, Texas on March 9, 1932 to Tom and Ida Bushong.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 30 years, Woodrow W. Owens Sr. and beloved son-in-law, David W. Eudaly. She is survived by, her step-sons David, Woody Jr.,Jimmy and Wilton Owens; daughter, LouDell Boleyn-Eudaly; Brothers, T C Bushong and James D. Bushong; sister, Ellen May; grandchildren, Christi Cooper, Sandi Duncan and Patrick B. Oliver.

Hazel was a member of the Salt Lake Baptist Church in Rockport, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 162 in Aransas Pass, longtime member of the Rebekahs, IOOF and numerous other organizations.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Charlie Marshall funeral home in Aransas Pass. An inurnment will be held at Prairie View Cemetery at 12 PM on Monday, July 24, 2017.
