Dr. Harvey Lee Mullenax

We would like you to know that Harvey's work here is done, he received his promotion, and is taking a higher position where he can still serve as our Guardian angel.

Harvey was born in Tilden IL on April 19, 1925. He was a beloved husband, father, and member of the community. He was known as Brother Harvey to most and is survived by his wife Lynn Mullenax of Rockport, 10 of his 12 children, John Lee, Marilyn, Donna, Janelle, David, Mark, Dawn, Harvey, Jennifer and Ellen and he is reunited with his sons Jimmy and Danny. He was blessed with 21 grandkids and 54 great grandkids.

He was happiest when he was doing for others, his door was always open and he never knew a stranger. He wore many hats in his life, from Chiropractor, mechanic, musician, carpenter, pilot, assistant pastor, and caretaker to elder in his church.

I was given the gift of a great life, and now I must give it back……….be joyful about the life I lived, not sad it was time to give it back. The life I lived was for the lord and now I am home, I will forever be in your hearts.

Services will be held at New Beginnings Ministries of Rockport, 922 HWY 35 South, at 3pm on April 9th, 2017
