Guadalupe T. Martinez, 92, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX. Guadalupe was born on April 30, 1926 in Taft, TX to Juan Tijerina and Epifania San Miguel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Epifania Tijerina and her son, Jose T. Flores Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Helen Perez of Aransas Pass, TX; son, Gilbert Tijerina of George West, TX; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Welita Lupe was a very special lady. She enjoyed listening to music while cooking from tortillas, aroz con pollo and can not forget tamales. She loved to tend to her plants and watch her birds and cats. Lupe also enjoyed taking weekly lunch trips and cruising with her granddaughter/caretaker Helen Jaramillo ( Bookie).

A Rosary is being recited at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Aransas Pass, TX. All services will conclude after Rosary.
