Gregory Pejka

Greg Pejka, 68 of Aransas Pass, TX; formerly of Lake Shore, MN; died on October 21st, 2022. He was surrounded by his family. Greg passed away at the CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX.

Greg was born November 29th, 1953 in Wimpole Park, Arrington, Cambridgeshire, England; the son of David and Katherine (Zellay) Pejka.

Following high school, Greg enlisted in the United States Airforce in Colorado Springs, CO where he served for 6 years. In his earlier years, Greg worked for the US Postal Service. He later pursued his Business Management Degree from St. Scholastica; which led to him being involved in many business ventures.

Greg’s favorite thing to do was to go fishing. He enjoyed fishing in the Lakes area. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Aransas Pass, TX to enjoy all the fish the ocean had to offer. He loved sharing his passion of fishing with others. He was an excellent cook that loved to entertain others with fish fries. He loved everything outdoors; nature and all it had to offer. He loved his family. Greg retired at the age of 56, so he spent many years enjoying life and traveling.

He will be missed by his wife Cindy Pejka, Daughter Michelle (Jeff) Pejka, Siblings Tina Pejka,

Jon (Penny) Pejka; and his favorite person in the world, his grandson Jorey Jackson.

He was preceded in his death by his parents David and Katherine Pejka
