Gordon Casey

Gordon Victor Casey, 81 passed away February 5, 2018. He was born January 7, 1937 in Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada to Gordon and Hattie Casey.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Casey Eggleton and brother, Arthur Casey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Micheline Casey; daughters, Elizabeth Teeter (Chuck), Kathleen Casey (Francis Olomu); sister, Dorothy Murphy (Harrison); brother in law, Fred Eggleton; one grandson, Nicholas Olomu; numerous nieces and nephews.

After serving seven years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Gordon embarked on a nearly 40-year career in the chemical and refining industry, mentoring generations of young operators before finally retiring from Equistar in 1999.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Shantan Reddy, Dr. Greg Silverman, Dr. Ramakrishna Chakilam, and Dr. Ellis Main for the wonderful treatment of our husband and father.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Nova Scotia, Canada. Memorial donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
