Gilbert G. Garza, 82, was called to his eternal resting place on August 1, 2019. He entered this world on May 12, 1937 in Ingleside, Texas, born to Ysaias and Dolores Gonzales Garza.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Adela Vega, Stella Ortega and Guillermo Garza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elia Villarreal Garza; brothers, Ysaias Garza, Jr. of Port Lavavca, Ernesto Garza of Florida; sister, Patty G. Ruiz (Jose) of Dallas.
Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ingleside. Burial will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
