Geraldine Davis Campbell

Geraldine Campbell 82, of Rockport, Texas went to be with our Lord Friday, September 15, 2023. She was born May 31, 1941, in Austin, Texas to Archie Davis and Beulah Davis.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Leon Campbell; son, James “Bubba Campbell; parents, Archie and Beulah Davis; brother, Jack Davis; sisters, Jeanette Sanders and Donna Griffin.

She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Holiday Beach Fellowship Church. She sang gospel bluegrass with her husband, daughter and son for many years. She was co-owner with her husband of Campbell Tile Company until his passing in 2018. She loved crafts and assisting her husband restore old Ford Mustangs. She was also an avid Angler.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Gembler and her husband, Al “Sandy” Gembler, her grandson, Jordan Oliver and wife, Glenn Oliver, great-grandson, Ricky Oliver.

 A celebration of life will be held at Holiday Beach Fellowship Church on October 7, 2023 at 11am. Pastor Ben Buchanan and Pastor David Fischer officiating.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department 302 Bois D' Arc St, Rockport, TX 78382.

   Burial will be private at a later date.
