George Rodriguez

George V. Rodriguez, Sr., 81 passed away January 25, 2017. He was born February 22, 1935 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Toribio and Josephine Rodriguez. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minerva Rodriguez; son, Rey Rodriguez; sister, Mary Hunter and brother, Joe Rodriguez.

He is survived by sons, Richard Rodriguez (Pauline) of Everett, Washington, George Rodriguez, Jr. (Shirlene) of Ingleside, Texas, Ramiro Rodriguez (Marsha) of Misawa, Japan; daughters, Rosa Carter (Kenneth) of New Port News, Virginia, Josie Sherrill (Scott) of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Minnie Rodriguez of Meza, Arizona; brothers, Fidel Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Johnny Rodriguez, Alfred Rodriguez; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6p.m.-9p.m Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass with Rosary recited at 7p.m. Funeral service conducted by Father Thomas Wellar will begin at 10a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Burial will follow at San Antonio de Padua Cemetery.
