George E. Baker, 71, went to be with the Lord October 26, 2018. He was born October 24, 1947, in Avon, Illinois to George Mills and Harriet Neff Baker. He was in the United States Airforce, an Automotive Diesel Mechanic and a member of the Cross Roads Church in Aransas Pass, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; George Mills, Joseph and Harriet Neff Baker; sister, Sally Thompson.
He is survived by his wife; Jeanette Baker of Rockport, Texas; daughters; Britney Baker of Aransas Pass, Texas and Brandy Lazzaretti of Gillette, Wyoming; stepchildren; Carl Baker, Laura Workman , Catherine Anderson and Samantha Clark; brother, Rick Baker; sisters, Pam Goranson and Nellore Collins;18 grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
His family will celebrate his life by holding a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Cross Roads Church, 417 N. Houston St. Aransas Pass, Texas.
