Garry Lankford

Garry was born on January 5, 1965, to Bobby and Patricia Lankford. He was the fifth of their six children. He grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and graduated from Memorial High School in McAllen. He spent most of his adult life in Corpus Christi, working as a sales manager for all field supply companies. He loved fishing and being on the water.
There was nothing he loved more than frying up fish and shrimp for his loved ones to enjoy. He will be remembered for his talent as a cook, especially the étouffée he served at the fund-raising golf tournaments in Karnes City every year for over 20 years. He will also be remembered for his kind heart and sense of humor.

Garry is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Billy Lankford, and Tommy Lankford.

He is survived by siblings Danny Lankford, Jimmy Lankford, Cindy Gibbs. He will be missed by countless friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17,2022 at 2:00pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Aransas Pass, Tx.
