Everett Deloy Mahan
Everett Deloy Mahan, 87, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Everett was born on August 31, 1930 in Hot Springs, AR, to Cumin Mahan and Ada Ewing.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cumin and Ada Mahan; loving wife, Edna LaNelle Mahan; three sisters, Doris Wallace, Opal Whistenhunt and Lois Hibbs; one brother, Delbert Mahan.
Everett is survived by his son, Howard W. Mahan; daughter, Deloyce Lindley; one sister, Nina (James) Wright; two grandchildren, Ilance (Eric) Herzog and Sherman Lindley; two great-grandchildren, Kasey Herzog and Colton Herzog.
Everett was a hard working Army Veteran. He moved to Aransas Pass to work for Reynolds, where he met the love of his life, Edna. Everett retired form Ingleside ISD maintenance department after 32 years of service. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed but forever loved by family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018. Family will be present from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral chapel ceremony in honor and celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. Pastor Tony Celelli, of Ingleside First Baptist Church, will be conducting the funeral service and final blessings. Military Honors will be provided by the Marine Corps League Detachment 430.
