Estefana Menchaca

Estefana Menchaca, 80, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Menchaca was born on December 26, 1937 to Miguel and Lucia Hernandez in Gregory, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents Miguel and Lucia Hernandez as well as four of her siblings; Frank, Mike, Juan and Josie Hernandez

She is survived by her husband Adolfo Menchaca Sr., who was her devoted partner for 63 years; 7 children, Ernesto (Melinda) Menchaca, Sylvia (Rogelio) Zuniga, Elvia (Gilbert) Hernandez, Manuel (Gracie) Menchaca, Adolfo Menchaca Jr. (Elia), Rogelio (Angie) Menchaca and Rene (Heidi) Menchaca; 19 Grandchildren ; Victoria, Vanessa, Dominick, Gus, Gibby, Jessica, Yvonne, Manny, Heidi, Adolfo III, Marcus, Stephen, Veronica, Ashlyne, Sabrina, Nicholas, Brianna, Damion and Adin; sister, Maria Hernandez; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated in her memory and honor at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Gregory, TX. Interment will follow at Gregory Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Dominick, Gus, Marcus, Adolfo III, Manny, Stephen, Nicholas and Gibby. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Adin.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory.
