Ernest Williams

ADC Ernest Earl "Sonny" Williams, 70 passed away February 5, 2017. He was born September 27, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Rayburn and Nona Williams. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and retired after 26 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his father. Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Ardene Williams; sons, Christopher Neil Williams (Sara) of Aransas Pass, Adam Williams of Port Aransas, Michael Williams of Lonestar; daughters, Jennifer Williams of San Diego, CA, Christina Williams of Port Aransas; mother, Nona Williams of Grapevine; sister, Ann "Sistie" Woodgate (Woody) of Grapevine and 10 grandchildren, Sgt. Sean Silverman, Sarah Silverman and Jessica Silverman, Laydan Williams, Noah Williams, Juliette Williams, Rayburn Williams II, Christopher Williams, Jr., Rhiannon Williams and Chance Williams.

Visitation will be held from 12noon-9:00p.m. with family present from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Funeral service will begin at 10:00a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 all at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Burial will be private.
