Erlinda Rucoi

Erlinda Andrea Rucoi, 91, was called to her eternal resting place on December 28, 2019. She entered this world on February 4, 1928 in Los Angeles, California, born to Manuel and Pascual Rodriguez.

She was a member of DAV Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, American G.I. Forum Women's Auxiliary, and she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She also spent her time volunteering at Castaways and as a Reach to Recovery Volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Rucoi.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Rucoi (Elaine) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her daughter, Diana Marie Clar (Janice Anderson) of Austin, Texas; brother, Richard Rodriguez of Los Angeles, California; two grandchildren, Jason Clar, Chloe and Daniel.

A Graveside service will be held at 9:30a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
