Emily Santini

Emily Kay Santini, 68, of Rockport, Texas passed away on April 15, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on December 23, 1948 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Carl and Marian Bundschuh.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Cyril E. Santini; sons, Jeff Santini (Jill), Quinn Santini (Annette), Eddie Thompson (Christine) and Cyril Santini III (Delora); daughters, Sundy Leisher (Todd), Amy Ralph (Tom), Darby Solis (Mario) and Shonda Santini; brother, Mark Bundschuh; sisters, Diane Dayton (Willard) and Nola Beck (Don); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many dear friends.

Kay was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and a dear friend to so many. She enjoyed cooking, drawing, writing, making costumes for her grandchildren and on occasion would dress up with them to go trick-or-treating. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and was happiest when she was surrounded by them. She was a long-time member of her church, serving as a librarian and Sunday school teacher. Kay will be dearly missed and although she is gone, her memories and life lessons will remain in our hearts forever.

A Visitation will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Coastal Oaks Church in Rockport - 2002 FM3036, Rockport, TX 78382 - on Thursday April 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Rockport Cemetery.
