Emily Cessac

Emily Fay (Green) Cessac of Rockport, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

She was born on August 7, 1954 to Johnny Ray Green and George Opal (Bailey) Green.

She was married to Jimmy Ray Cessac on August 11, 1972.

Emily worked as a Medication Aid at Rockport Nursing Center and as a manager at Whataburger and Dairy Queen.

She was a member of Temple of Praise Church and had a passion for making jewelry as her ministry for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Green, brother Johnny Lee Green and her loving husband of almost 40 years Jimmy Cessac.

She is survived by her mother Opal Green; four children Mechelle Lee (Cessac) Hopgood (Scott), Jamison Scott Cessac (Gail), Jonathan Edward Cessac, Jeffrey Allen Cessac (Lauren); her three sisters Barbara Dobson (Marshall), Betty Anthony (David), and Charlotte Hinson (John - deceased) and one brother George Green (Cindy); as well as her four grandchildren and one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 21st at 10:00 am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas.
