Elodia Lopez Gutierrez, 72 passed away July 16, 2021. She was born June 1, 1949 in Mathis, Texas to Agapito and Librada De La Garza Lopez.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Rogelio L. Gutierrez; husband, Guadalupe Sam Gutierrez; sister, Lydia Goodman.

She is survived by her children, Rosendo Lopez Gutierrez, Sandie Nava-Rodriguez, Joe Gutierrez (Karen); brothers, Pete Lopez, Carlos Lopez; sisters, Senaida Acuna, Sally Lopez, Rachel Stokes, Susie Diaz; 8 grandchildren, Joe, David, Chelina, Lane, Kayden, Jaren, Gatlin, Canon; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am-9:00pm with Leandro Olivarez giving a eulogy at 6:00pm and rosary recited at 7:00pm Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by interment at Rockport Cemetery.
