Eliza "Pud" Moses Hurt went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Aransas Pass, TX. Eliza was born on February 13, 1934 in Pawnee, TX.

Eliza was a lifetime member of The Church of Christ in Aransas Pass, TX. Her favorite pastime and passion was gardening, painting and other arts and crafts. She enjoyed and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John F. and Margie Moses; her brothers, Willie Moses, Vernon Moses, George Monroe Moses and one great-granddaughter, Daisha Leeann Clifton.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Judy Lynn Shipp of Sandia, TX, Johnny Dale (Myra) Clifton of Beeville, TX, Shelia Marie Carpenter of Aransas Pass, TX and William Franklin (Elaina) Clifton of Aransas Pass, TX; nine siblings that she loved dearly; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX.
Chapel Funeral Ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. A private graveside service will be held at Pawnee Cemetery in Pawnee, TX.
