Elia Garza

Elia V. Garza passed away on September 1, 2023. She was 85 years old. She was born August 22, 1938 in Reynosa, Tamps Mexico to Juan N. Villarreal and Romona Lopez Villarreal.

Elia enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing, hunting, and she enjoyed her parrot "Rudy" and her cocktail. She loved her family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gilbert Garza; parents; 4 brothers, Ismael, Eleazar, Jose Anibal, and Roberto; sister, Delia V. Rangel.

She is survived by 15 nieces, and 13 nephews; brother, Ignacio Villarreal Lopez of Reynosa, Tamps Mexico.

Visitation will be held September 8, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00 am. The burial will follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
