Elege Gene Frazier of Aransas Pass, TX passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the age of 87. He was born February 27, 1936, to E.L. (Les) and Thelma Frazier. He is preceded in death by his brother Leslie Frazier.
Gene was a life-long educator and coach in several Texas school districts and was an avid fisherman of the many Texas bay systems. He loved to teach fishing “novices” his approach to the craft of fishing.
Gene was dearly loved by his wife of 38 years, Jane Frazier. They were true “Soul Mates” and very much in love with each other. Gene was adored and loved by his son and daughter-in-law Farley and Diane Frazier of College Station, TX. His four granddaughters, Leslie Anne Marbach (Matt), Andrea Rando (Chris), Emily Carey (Will), and Claire Lynch (Gavin) and nine great grandchildren Michael, Weston, Catherine, Charlotte, Cade, Luke, Thomas, Leah, and Anna occupied a special place in Gene’s heart. He very much loved them and was their “biggest fan”. To them Grandaddy (Gene) was a “rock star “!
A special thanks to Martha and Dan Moore, Susan Harper/John Sixta and Doug Johnson for their constant love, support, and caring of Gene and Jane in his final days. Gene very much appreciated their help and cherished their friendship.
There will be a small memorial service for Gene TBA.
May Gene rest in eternal peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.
