Dorothy Erwin Kullman passed away on September 4, 2018. She was born April 20, 1931 in Aransas Pass, Texas where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Kullman; grandson, Jordan Scott Kullman; parents, Winston Eli Russell Erwin and Ivy Agnes Erwin; brothers, Russell Erwin, Eugene Erwin and Leroy Erwin; and sisters, Jewel Whittaker and Ann Mires.

She is survived by her children, Darce (LuAnn) Kullman, Ronnie (Jann) Kullman, Jeffery (Kathy) Kullman and Zoe Ann (Kris) Simmons; grandchildren, Mark Kullman, Michelle (Dan) Dalton, Jason (Kendra) Kullman, Joshua (Ashley) Kullman, Zachary (Kerry) Simmons, Janna (Daniel) Delgado, Kyle Simmons and Julie Simmons; great grandchildren, Reese, Rylan, Cade, Kyndall, Masyn, Violet, Scout, Skyy, Clementine, Lola, Gehrig and Vivienne; and sister, Ivy Marie (Tootsie) Anderson.

Dorothy was a true matriarch, dedicating her life to family. She excelled at keeping her family grounded and connected. She especially loved family gatherings and getting together with her friends to play Mahjong every chance she had. Dorothy was also actively involved in her community as a member of the Lioness Club. Dorothy was deeply loved by her family. Her kind heart, uplifting spirit and wonderful sense of humor will be missed and will remain forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, from 12:00pm-9:00pm with the family present from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 2:00pm, officiated by Pastor Larry McRorey also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.

Pallbearers for the services will be: Zach Simmons, Kyle Simmons, Jason Kullman, Josh Kullman, Mark Kullman, Dan Dalton, Daniel Delgado and Mark Garland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials made to First United Methodist Church of Portland, Texas or the charity of your choice.
