Dorothy Hodge

Dorothy Mae Hodge, 80 went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 11, 2019. She was born July 5, 1939 and raised in Wellington, Texas. She moved to Aransas Pass in 1965. She worked 10 years at Little Bob’s Restaurant and she also worked at APISD for 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents and one brother.

She was a Life Member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6386 Ingleside and a member of North Bay Fellowship Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy (David) Boston of Corpus Christi; one son, Dwayne (Lolli) Hodge of Aransas Pass. She had two other daughters, Phyllis (Paul) Gittens of Portland, Jerri (Len) Henderson of Aransas Pass; one sister, Bessie (Billy) Langford of Wellington, Texas; two brothers, W.L. (Barbara) Ray, Denzil (Chris) Ray both of Childress, Texas; one sister-in-law Omega Ray of Lubbock, Texas. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Prairie View Cemetery.
