Dorothy Cooper

Dorothy Alice Cooper passed away on May 13, 2020. She was 89 years old. She was born on May 21,1930 in Corpus Christi, Texas to John and Marian Palmer.

Alice was a proud member of the Golden Arts Triangle Association. She loved the outdoors and fishing of any kind. She was known for her smile, amazing meals, and especially her “famous gravy”.

She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 46 + years, O. C. Cooper Jr.; daughters, Julia Cooper and Karen K. Hall; son, Brian K. Cooper.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Kathy Smith (Scott) of Rockport, Texas; daughter-in-law, Linda Cooper of Rockport, Texas; son-in-law, Mike Hall of Port Aransas, Texas; brothers, Dan and Jackie Palmer of Aransas Pass, Texas; grandchildren, Justin  K. Cooper (Tonya) of Aransas Pass, Texas, Kevin M. Hall (Audrey) of Port Aransas, Texas, Jeffrey A. Cooper (Leah) of Ingleside, Texas, Kristin Hall (Anne) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Aleshia M. Cooper (Kaylee) of Aransas Pass, Texas; great-grandchildren, Allerick, Corey, Tyler, Haylie, Jadyn, Addison, Preslee, and Brock.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral Service will be Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
