Doris Kay Coulter, 79, of Ingleside, Texas, passed away on September 25, 2017 with her loved ones by her side. Doris was born in Sinton, Texas on July 29, 1938 to Milton and Hattie Felsing. She graduated from Sinton High School in 1956. Her and Ocia Coulter were married in 1958, they celebrated 49 years of marriage before his passing in 2007. She worked as a secretary at Cloud Paving, and later a legal secretary at Ellis, Andrews, and Lawrence Law. She was a general manager for Jackson Square Apartments for many years, and a seamstress for her son at Chris's Marine and Haynie Boats. She enjoyed volunteering at the United Methodist Church in Ingleside, Texas. She was an officer of the Lioness Club of Aransas Pass, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, O.V. Coulter; her granddaughter, Allison Coulter, and her grandson, Jacob Graham.

She is survived by her sisters, MaryAnn Rusk (Sigsby Rusk), and Myrna Payne (Allison Payne), and brothers, Jerry Felsing (Paula Felsing), and Milton E. Felsing; her children, Pamela Coulter of Canyon Lake, Texas, James Coulter (Misty Coulter), Sheri Coulter, Chris Coulter (Julie Coulter) all of Ingleside, Texas; her step-daughter, Robin Simmons (Larry Simmons) of Wichita, Kansas, and her fiancé, Steve Oakley of City By The Sea, Texas, She was also blessed with 41 nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Her children, grand and great-grandchildren fueled her life and brought her joy. She could light a room with her comforting smile and ability to make everyone feel loved.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, October 02, 2017 at 11:00 a.m at The United Methodist Church located at 2572 Church St, Ingleside, Texas 78362.
