Doris Annette Bennett

Doris was born on June 1, 1945, to James and Ada Lykins in Houston, Texas. She met William Ray Bennett in Kileen, Texas while he was in the Army. They later got married on January 16, 1965.

Doris, passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 77, peacefully in her home. She went to be with the Lord and her loved ones after battling cancer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ada Lykins; husband, William Roy Bennett; sister, Judy Hauk.

Doris is survived by her five children, Judy Leshika, William Mark Bennett (Kay) of Portland, Texas, Tammy JoAnn Reynolds (John) of Carlisle, AR, Dawn Michelle Bennett (Fiancé, Darryl Moake) of Lovelady, Texas and Kathleen Bracewell (Russell) of Spring, Texas; eight grandchildren, Elaina and Logan Bracewell of Spring, Texas, William  Devin Bennett of Ingleside, Texas, Chrisitan Mark Bennett of Portland, Texas, John (Jessica) Reynolds, William “Eddie” Reynolds, Erica Reynolds, and Joshua Reynolds, all of Arkansas; two great-grandchildren, Penelope and Ryker Reynolds of Arkansas; along with numerous family members.
