Donna Joyce Goode

Donna Joyce Goode, 77, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on May 2, 1947, Donna was known for her strong will, resilience and deep commitment to her family.

After retiring she continued to looking after her family, connecting with her sisters on Facebook, and cooking, always seeing that those entering her house had enough to eat.

Though words do little to convey the impact a person leaves in their time in this world. Donna was an anchor in her children and grandchildren’s lives. May she be at peace with a life well lived.

Donna is survived by her loving siblings Betty, Georgia, Veronica, and Ruby; her children Joseph and Heidi Schueller, David and Lisa Dougherty, Regina Schenck and Joseph Lopez. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren who will miss her deeply. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Iva Lea Goodwin, her siblings Linda, Robert, Bonnelle, and Roberta Goodwin, and her husband, John Goode
