Donald James Wright, 66, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2019, at his residence in Rockport, TX, surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born on April 19, 1952 in Aransas Pass, TX, to Johnny T. and Jonell Wright.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Thomas Wright and his son, Darrick Aiden Wright.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Teresa Wright; his mother, Jonell Wright; his three sons, John Thomas Wright, Donald James Wright Jr., and Byron Alan (Jennifer) Wright; his daughter, Judith Ann Wright; four sisters, Donna Kay, Wanda, Patsy and Marha; seven grandchildren, Dixie, Darrick, Summer, Abilene, Autumn, Chloe and Reggie.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Church of Christ of Rockport, TX. Located at 1520 Omohundro St. Rockport, TX 78382.
