Diana Pauline Murphy, also known as Pinky to her friends, December 1939- September 2020
Diana, age 80, passed away at her home in Fulton Texas. She was born on December 14th, 1939 in Brentford, West London to Lord Richard Ramsy Prichard and Lisalotte. Diana was fiercely independent with a wicked sense of humor with an infectious laugh. Diana spent her early adulthood living abroad, with most of her time in Belgium and Germany. She learned to speak German within six months with only the television as a tutor, and to a standard high enough to be employed at the British Consulate in Cologne.
Diana was the mother of two daughters, Colette Vincent and Alison Frerich, who also have a passion for travel and living abroad. Colette gave birth to Diana’s eldest grandson Christopher in 1983 while living in Saudi Arabia and Alison had Diana’s youngest grandson Zac in 2002 while living in Stockholm. Diana also has two granddaughters by Colette, Lia and Hannah and 5 great-grandchildren living across Europe.
Diana survived her dear husband Jim, of ten years, and spent her last years with some of her true loves. The Kitties. Her cats brought her great joy and companionship in her later life. Diana continued her passions for knitting, gardening and collecting antiques until her last days.
A family memorial service will be held for Diana once Covid travel restrictions have been lifted.
