Delfina Gonzalez

Delfina Gonzalez passed away at her home on Sabinal Street in Rockport, Texas of natural causes on Monday, July 22, 2024. She was 85 years old. She was a life long resident of our fine city of Rockport. She was born in Matewalla, Mexico on November 23, 1938 to Ezequiel and Lorenza Lopez. She tooo brought a strong Mexican customs in her everyday life, she worked as a housekeeper after the lose of her husband, Juventino Gonzalez and later she lost her son, Beto Gonzalez. She continued to work with her friends and her new best friend, Paco, her parakeet. She enjoyed her plants, and preparing amazing foods for all occasions, she was a woman with Spirit to spare and an unwavering faith in God Almighty. She is survived by her brothers, Carlos Lopez of Rockport, Texas, and Raul Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Luz Booth of Ingleside,Texas. Delfina Gonzalez will be missed by those that knew her. May she now rest in peace...

Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 11:00 am- 8:00 pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, August 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport Texas. Inurnment will follow service at the Rockport Cemetery
