Debbie Newberry

Debbie Joyce Newberry, 58 passed away February 1, 2021. She was born August 24, 1962 in Bonham, Texas to James Albert Decker, Sr., and Joyce Chandler Decker. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She loved her grandchildren and was a wonderful Grandma and Nanny. She enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors, her flowers and all animals. Debbie loved to sing and dance and had a voice sent from God. She was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger and loved everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her father.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 22 years, Michael Craig Newberry of Rockport; sons, Michael Shane Decker (Nicole) of Richmond, Maine, Tyler Sanders (Shannon) of Marysville, Ohio, James Michael Newberry, Jake Thomas Newberry of Rockport; daughters, Ashley Michelle Tidwell (Kevin) of Rockport, Jena Ruth Newberry (Billy Joe Nichols) of Corpus Christi; mother, Joyce “Beanie” Chandler of Aransas Pass; brothers, James Albert Decker, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Michael Solen Decker (Monica) of Rockport; sister, Verta Christine Price of Rockport; grandchildren, Emma Rose Newberry of Corpus Christi, Miranda Paisley Tidwell of Rockport, Molly Ann Decker, Maxwell James Decker of Richmond, Maine, Lexi Lynn Garcia of Corpus Christi, Kenzie May Tidwell of Rockport; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
