In Loving Memory of Dawn Marie Oswald
Dawn Marie Oswald, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 15, 2023, in Rockport, Texas, at the age of 55. She was born on October 7, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Robert and Wendy Reeves. Dawn's bright spirit and loving nature brought light to the lives of all who knew her.
After graduating from the Academy of Math and Science, Dawn pursued career in the Navy and Army before becoming a certified Occupational Therapist. Her dedication and compassion shone through her work, as she made a positive impact on countless lives. Dawn's commitment extended beyond her profession, as she selflessly volunteered as a mentor of SBC and ABCD to women with metastatic breast cancer.
On August 31, 1996, Dawn married the love of her life, William "Ozzy" Oswald. Their union was a testament to their deep love and commitment, sharing the joys and challenges of life together for over 27 years.
Dawn had a zest for life and found joy in the simple pleasures. She had a passion for Snoopy, always finding comfort and laughter in the beloved cartoon character. Additionally, Dawn had a creative spirit and enjoyed crochet. She also had an affinity for craft beer, relishing the unique flavors and experiences it brought.
Dawn's passing is preceded by her father, Robert Reeves, and her brother, Shaun Reeves. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Dawn is survived by her devoted husband, William "Ozzy" Oswald, and their children: Brittney (Justin), Joseph, Taylor-Rae, and Desyrae. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Tessah and Neegan, as well as her sisters Kelly and Donna. Dawn also left behind her beloved service dog, Pixie
A celebration of Dawn's life will be held on December 27, 2023, at 10:00 am. Friends and family will gather at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home – Rockport, to honor her memory and share stories of the joy she brought to their lives.
Dawn Marie Oswald will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her positive spirit, kindness, and love touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Though her physical presence may be gone, her memory and the warmth she brought to our hearts will forever remain.
