David Rodriguez, 50, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2023. He was born on August 22, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the proud parents, Armando and Yolanda Rodriguez. David was a beloved member of the community, known for his contagious laughter and calm demeanor. He attended Gregory-Portland High School, where he made lasting friendships and cherished memories. Afterward, he furthered his education and obtained an associates degree from Del Mar College. Throughout his life, David found joy in many things. He was an accomplished cook, creating delicious meals that delighted family and friends. He also had a great passion for motorcycles, spending countless hours on the open road, feeling the wind in his hair. He had a love for the Dallas Cowboys and could be found cheering them on every game day. Additionally, David found solace and inspiration in rock music, turning up the volume whenever his favorite songs came on. But in the end, he found the most joy in his four children. David will be deeply missed by his children who were a constant source of pride and joy in his life. Their bond was unbreakable, and they shared many cherished moments together. David was preceded in death by his father, Armando Rodriguez, his mother, Yolanda Rodriguez, and his brother Armando Rodriguez (Christine). David was survived by his daughters Ryann Elizabeth Rodriguez (19), Erin Marie Rodriguez (18), Megan Elaine Rodriguez (15) and his son David Roan Rodriguez (13), his siblings, Israel (Sandra) Rodriguez, Levinia Rodriguez, Christina (Andrew) Rosebrough, Josephine (Denis) Guzman, long time girlfriend; Robin Bird, nine nieces and nephews and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Although David may no longer be physically with us, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will forever live on in our hearts. He will be remembered as a free spirit, who brought light to everyone he encountered. May David Rodriguez find eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched. A gathering will take place on November 3, 2023 at 10am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Reception to follow at, Blackbeard's on the beach.
