David Gonzalez


David Gonzalez, 60, of Aransas Pass, TX, departed this life quietly and peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his home in Aransas Pass, TX, surrounded by his beloved family. Mr. Gonzalez was born on April 25, 1958. He was a long life resident of Aransas Pass and he proudly served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972. He was a wonderful father, a loving husband and a true friend. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his mother, Rita; his twin brother; his daughter, Sara Cruz Medina.

He is survived by his spouse of 27 years, Oralia Cruz; his four daughters, Antoinette Cruz (Vehbi Erdagi), Elizabeth Morgan (Roland Lara), Belinda Garcia (Frankie) and Michelle Davila (Papo Robles); his five sons, Alvaro Gilbert Medina (Bernice), Aaron Cruz, Arnoldo Davila Jr., Jessie (Debbie) Davila and George (Cynthia) Davila; as well as numerous grandchildren which include, Alexis Bernal, Isaias Bernal, Damian Lopez, Micaela Cruz, Oralia Martinez, Marie Martinez, Milagro Robles, Cielo Robles, Joseph Rodriguez, Jessica Davila, Jesse Davila Jr., Jonathan Davila, Michael Davila, Amber Davila, George Davila Jr., Selma Davila, Addison Davila, Mindy Castro, Rudy Castro, Kimberly Castro, Pasty Garcia, Isabel Garcia, Sherry Rodriguez, Arnold Davila III, Arnoldo Davila IV, Bobby Rodriguez and Brandon Rodriguez. His great grand child Luke Ortiz. His best friends Oscar Aldape Sr & his son Oscar Aldape Jr.

A Special thank you from our family to Rosa Davila and to all of David's friends & neighbors. Thank you Aunt Mary Collins & Uncle Homer Ortiz for being there for mom.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass, TX. Mass will be Celebrated by Father James Vasquez.

Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Cementerio San Antonio de Padua, in Aransas Pass, Aransas County, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by the Marine Corps League Detachment 430 of Corpus Christi, TX.
