On Wednesday January 15th, 2025 Dale Bietendorf Jr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 69. He was a devoted loving husband, worlds best Papa, and the greatest father not only to his own children but the figure to many nieces and nephews. In the recent past 7 years or so of his life as a retiree, he was enjoying spending everyday at home with his wife, the time he had for his family, and was wrapped around his granddaughters little fingers. He loved woodworking, fishing, arts and crafts with his granddaughters, and cooking/baking in which he loved to share his creations, leaving a lasting impact on many.
Dale was born in Dover Delaware on November 10, 1955 to Dale Sr. and Marjorie Bietendorf. He graduated from Aransas Pass TX and joined the United States Navy shortly after. He met his soulmate, mother of his children, and most beloved wife Mary Agnes Toerner on leave in the late 1970s. He came home to her as quickly as he could once leaving the military and they were married shortly after on July 1st, 1980. After the military Dale became an Electrician advancing to Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector with a career that spanned 40 years in the offshore construction industry.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Gay Lynn Olsen.
Dale is survived by his beautiful wife Mary; four children Dale Bietendorf III, Trisha Bietendorf, Marjorie Elisardo(Prajedes), and Andrew Bietendorf(Tallica); his Sister Beth Edmunds and brother Terry Bietendorf; his favorite people, the ones who called him Papa, Kendra, Kendall, and Keira Elisardo; as well as his many loving nieces and nephews.
His loss is so profoundly felt in his family and he will be missed immensely.
