Connie Alice Veiss, 94, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2018. She was born in Brockett, AR on October 9, 1924.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She loved crocheting, quilting, scrabble, cooking for her family, sketching, gardening, animals domestic and wild, flowers, and collecting seashells. She was a devout Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carter and Myrtle Shaver and husband, John J. Veiss, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, David Veiss of San Antonio,TX; daughters, Patricia Picarazzi , Dolores "Dody" (Ray) Brown, Teresa ( Jean) Picarazzi all of Rockport, TX; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas. Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas. Christian burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
