Clara Hernandez

Clara Flores Hernandez passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022. She was 79 years old. Clara was born on August 04, 1942, in Gregory, TX. To Esequiel Flores and Guadalupe Mardrigal Flores.

Clara was a Retired Pastor at the Rockport Church of God. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend who will be missed by everyone that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Esquiel Flores, and Guadalupe M. Flores; and her loving daughter, Maria V. Hernandez Whitmire.

She is survived by her children, Mauricio Hernandez (Mary Jane), Esequiel Hernandez (Marivel), Gilbert Hernandez (Maria), Cynthia Hernandez, and Clara Hernandez; four sisters; and two brothers; twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Rockport, TX. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Fulton Community Church, 215 N. 3rd St. Fulton, TX. Burial will follow at the Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockport, TX.
