Christine Mary Pavlas

Christine Mary Rut Carroll Pavlas, age 86, of Rockport, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1938, in Marlin, Texas, to John and Mary Rut.

Christine was a loving and devoted mother to her four children: Lisa Schroeder of Yoakum, Texas; Donald Carroll (Susie) of Ingleside, Texas; Donna Berkovsky (Keith Adler) of Rockport, Texas; and Carl Carroll (Rebecca) of Yoakum, Texas. She cherished her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and her heart was full of love for each of them. Christine came from a large family, filled with fond memories of her 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her siblings: Jeanie Fogel, Jo Cross (Jim), and Albert Rut (Rita). She was predeceased by her parents, seven siblings, and one grandson.

A passionate lover of gardens and houseplants, Christine found joy in nurturing the beauty of the natural world around her. She was also a devoted pet lover, spoiling her little dog, Angel, with affection. Known for her spunky personality and vibrant spirit, Christine was a source of warmth and laughter to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing her path.Christine's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends

.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christine's memory to Parkinson Foundation. A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
