Charles "Randy" Randall Hoyt, a beloved Fishing and Hunting guide, has set out on final adventure on May 3, 2024. Born on November 26, 1955, in Katy, Texas to Charles and Virginia Hoyt, Randy lived a life deeply connected to nature and the thrill of the hunt.
Randy's passion for the great outdoors manifested in his career as a Fishing and Hunting guide. His expertise and love for these activities brought joy to those who shared in his adventures. Beyond his profession, Randy's spirit was marked by his enthusiasm for football, particularly his unwavering support for Texas A&M.
Randy is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Hoyt; father, Charles Friday Hoyt; grandparents, Fred and Ada Hoyt.
A graduate of Katy High School, Randy's dedication to his craft was matched only by his dedication to his family. He is survived by his only son, David Hoyt; mother, Elizabeth Hoyt of Rockport, TX; brother, Richard Wells (Susan) of Pearland, TX; sisters, Kathey Wilson of Sargent, TX, and Donita McPherson of Fulton, TX. Additionally, Randy leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A man who truly embraced life with all its challenges and triumphs, Randy touched the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy as a kind-hearted and adventurous soul will continue to live on in the memories of those he leaves behind.
Services to honor and celebrate Randy's life will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Rockport, TX. A viewing will take place on May 9, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on May 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
